The 5th Energy Transition Forum of Grüner Strom Label e.V. will take place on September 18 in Bonn. Cooperation partner and host are the Stadtwerke Bonn (SWB Energie und Wasser). The EnergyAgency.NRW with the umbrella brand Electromobility NRW could be won as a further cooperation partner.
After introductory presentations in the morning, there will be three parallel thematic forums in the afternoon. In the evening, there will also be an evening reception to mark our 20th anniversary. The focal points of this year's Energy Transition Forum are:
E-mobility and traffic turnaround
Against the backdrop of the diesel gate, particulate pollution and the threat of driving bans, e-mobility is becoming increasingly important. R&D have been able to make enormous progress in various fields of technology. This applies not only to the vehicles themselves, but also to the (charging) infrastructure. However, e-mobility only makes sense with green electricity. The topic offers small and large utilities as well as environmental associations and municipalities many points of contact and opportunities for cooperation.
Among others with:
- DIETMAR OELIGER Head of Transport Policy, NABU - Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V.; Chairman Green Electricity Label e.V.
- HEIKO MÜLLER Project Engineer, SWB Energy and Water
- GEORG GROTHUES Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network, Electromobility, EnergyAgency.NRW
- NORMAN ELMERS Business Development Electromobility, Polarstern GmbH
Smart energy supply and sector coupling
Utility companies and municipal utilities have to develop new business areas under the changing framework conditions. For example, more and more interfaces are emerging between the energy industry, municipalities and trade/industry against the backdrop of digitization and regional value creation. In this context, cooperation with environmental organizations is indispensable for a regional and nature-compatible energy transition.
Among others with:
- NATURSTROM AG
- TOBIAS JALETZKY Managing Director, EUROSOLAR e.V.
- TOBIAS STRUCK Head of Energy Storage and Projects, WEMAG AG
Decentralized energy transition and post-2020 concepts
In a few years, the first renewable energy plants will fall out of the EEG subsidy. What will happen next, and what role can energy suppliers play? Digitization will change the energy industry and the diversity of players will continue to increase: from consumers to prosumers, from municipal utilities to energy service providers, from action alliances to citizen energy cooperatives...
Among others with:
- KLAUS NAGL Managing Director, Consolinno Energy GmbH
- MARCUS BOLLMANN Deputy Spokesman, AK Energie, BUND e.V.
- BERNHARD STROHMAYER Consultant for Energy Markets and Mobility, German Renewable Energy Federation (Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V.)
