"The debates surrounding the energy turnaround make one thing clear: It would be wrong to rely solely on politics to set the right course," says Rosa Hemmers, Chairwoman of Grüner Strom Label e.V. (GSL). "In the expansion of renewable energies to date, it has become clear that there is always a need for organizations, companies and citizens to lead the way and provide additional impetus. With the conference, we want to bring these actors together and offer them the space to present their projects and discuss new ideas." "We are pleased that the conference is taking place with us in Heidelberg - because as a 100% municipal company that is already advancing the energy turnaround very concretely in the region with many local partners, we are very happy to support the exchange of ideas and initiatives," says Michael Teigeler, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Heidelberg Energie.
The event will present both the latest developments and already implemented measures for a renewable energy system. Among them also such, which were promoted in the context of the green electricity certification.
