The Generationenhof Landau started a solar project in spring 2021 and today has an installed solar system. The residents can largely supply themselves with electricity and make an important contribution to the energy transition. The solar project was supported by the funding program "SolidarSolar" with money from the Green Electricity Fund.

On August 9, 2021, the first part of the IPCC's Sixth Assessment Report on the scientific basis of climate change was presented, once again emphasizing the dramatic climate situation. In the fight against global warming, only one thing can help: reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The most effective way to do this is to generate electricity from renewable sources.
