Project outline (max. 3,000 characters) | The Energiegenossenschaft Oberes Mühlbachtal (EGOM) with headquarters in 56357 Strüth has set itself the goal of installing ecological, decentralized and fair energy supply for the citizens of the municipality of Strüth and the surrounding communities. Likewise, projects of electromobility and resource-saving supply of the citizens are to be realized. EGOM implements the energy transition locally in the Upper Mühlbach Valley and would like to give citizens the opportunity to actively support and benefit from this development. In this context, EGOM will work on the business areas of "regenerative energy" and "electromobility". In the renewable energy business area, the cooperative will set up and operate photovoltaic roof systems. As far as possible, the electricity generated will be marketed locally, in the building, at fair prices. Surpluses will be fed into the grid in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the remuneration will accrue to the cooperative. In the electromobility business area, car-sharing is to be implemented locally by means of electric vehicles that the cooperative will purchase.
Need for promotion: For the development of the cooperative, the recruitment of new members is a key element. The aim is to add 40 more in the first fiscal year (2016). to attract members. The positive response to date and the interest shown make this objective seem very realistic. The running costs for the operation of the cooperative are covered by voluntary work of the members of the Board of Management and Supervisory Board kept low. Other members of the cooperative are also willing to volunteer tasks to do (accounting, office work, etc.). Nevertheless, the running costs will amount to approx. 2,300.00 €/year. The main cost driver is the biennial audit conducted by the prescribed testing association. Although this has no costs for the initial test budgeted, but in 2018, the cooperative will be in compliance with the statutory Check specifications. The costs for this amount to 630.00 €/day net, the Association assumes four days for initial testing. These funds are not available for the implementation of the actual objectives and have to be reduced by the installation of PV systems and the resulting profit, even if this is very low due to the EEG amendments, carried will be. We would therefore be grateful for any support. |
