In the last newsletter of 2023, we provide you with important events that have kept us busy in recent months and we are already looking forward to 2024 with great anticipation.

Just in time for the cold season, we spoke to Alexander Steinfeldt from co2online about sustainable heating and got some practical tips.

We were guests on the 'Zukunftsorte' podcast from the Rheinische Post and Euref and talked to other podcasters about how to communicate constructively about the energy transition. You can also look forward to an event tip and a sustainability tip to help you start the new year in an energy and climate-conscious way.

Personnel changes in our team: There has been a change of management in our Grüner Strom-Label certification department. After almost four years as department head, Barbara Fricke is moving to the Bonn city administration. She will be succeeded by Nina Cernohorsky and Eva Rausch as co-heads. Our two new co-heads not only bring a great deal of expertise and commitment, but are also a well-rehearsed team. As a result, the association's numerous projects will continue to run with proven reliability. 

Sadly, we also have to announce the loss of a highly valued member of the Board of Directors. In this newsletter, we pay tribute to Rosa Hemmers, who we remember as an admirable personality.
