GRÜNER STROM LABEL E.V. SIGNS OPEN LETTER ON THG QUOTA
In an open letter, various organizations from electromobility and the energy industry (GreenTrax, Polarstern, The Mobility House, GP Joule, ChargePoint, Grüner Strom Label, Wirelane, EWE and Mainzer Stadtwerke) are jointly calling for greater support for electricity from renewable energies that is charged in electric vehicles. As part of the current amendment to the greenhouse gas reduction quota (GHG quota for short), there is a call for renewable energies provided for traction current to be counted towards the GHG quota.
Grüner Strom Label e.V. is one of the signatories of the letter and, together with its supporters, is thus speaking out in favor of electromobility as a key technology that is absolutely preferable to the use of biofuels or synthetic fuels (e-fuels).
