STADTWERKE MENDEN HONORED WITH ZFK SUSTAINABILITY AWARD
The Grüner Strom-Label certified tariff "naturliebeStrom" of the Stadtwerke Menden has received this month the reader award in bronze, awarded by the newspaper for municipal economy. Already since 2019, the tariff "naturliebeStrom" is certified with our Grüner Strom-Label.

In the wake of the coal summit, some of our sponsoring associations have commented on the results of the negotiations in Berlin. In particular, they are calling for an earlier coal phase-out and the abandonment of the planned commissioning of Datteln 4.

Ecologically sound renewable energy plants continue to make an important contribution to the energy transition even after the end of subsidies under the Renewable Energy Sources Act. The Grüner Strom-Label now promotes the continued operation of post-EEG plants.
