This summer, we welcome Deutsche Umwelthilfe as a new sponsor. This means that seven leading environmental and consumer associations are backing the Green Electricity and Green Gas labels. In addition, sales of certified green electricity will reach a new record in 2021. One reason for this is the increasing number of certified tariffs - this also applies to the Green Gas Label: Germany's largest energy cooperative is now offering biogas tariffs for new customers.
Despite the increased expansion of renewable energies, the question of German supply security and independence remains unanswered since the start of the war in Ukraine.
