With temperatures exceeding the 30-degree mark, summer has finally arrived. However, the heat wave did not come as a surprise. To ensure that it doesn't stay that way in the future, a lot still needs to be done in terms of the energy transition. Fortunately, we are on the right track: because not only the temperatures are at a record high, but also the sales of Grüner Strom-certified green electricity last year! This year, there are also other certified green electricity tariffs with exciting projects.
Furthermore, the second round of the Energiewendeforum Digital has started and we look back on a nice event with interesting content and discussions on the topics of sector coupling and system integration. At the same time, we are already looking forward to the next event on 21.09.2021, this time with a focus on green hydrogen.

Migration researcher and sociologist Dr. Benjamin Schraven explains the relationship between migration and climate.
